    As the first pictures were beamed back to Earth after a rough landing, the designers accepted that whilst the Italian "Mars Explorer" certainly had the edge in style on the American version, it lacked something in practicality.

    I know it's sad, but the pirst picture is a 348 with 355 alloys,(look at the side fins and rear engine cover) I hope he told the insurance company it was modified...It certainly was after the crash.

    I never noticed that.I knew the on limit handling of a 348 was tricky, but is it really that bad!!!!!!!!!
