That is some cool stuff. One question though... What made you decide to do a 456 pick-up? Was there a custom job done to a real 456? Or was it just something you decided to do?

What got me really excited is the preview section of what you have planned. Awesome stuff coming down the pipe. Looking forward to it.

Yup. Working on a F50 GT myself I can definitely appreciate Steffen's work. Needless to say his F50 looks a lot sharper than mine.

I posted a couple shots in this thread:

    http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3589&highlight=F50+GT+putty

Once I was done painting it again, I realized, the F50 has 4 air intake ducts on top, so I had to cut those, which of course ruined the putty work and the paint job (your car has those ducts as well). After redoing everything, the paint job isn't now as even and my putty work for the engine cover and cabin are a far cry from your job. Same goes for the air duct on the front cover.

My F50 GT will be like many real cars on ebay: Looks great from a distance...
    :)

Thanks man. There is actually an aluminum engine cover underneath all that putty. But you're right. Eventually I have to learn to get better in machining aluminum parts.
