Hey everyone. I have recently been given a complete set of luggage for an 89' 348 TS to sell on ebay for a friend. Ferrari luggage is not my area of expertise, so I was wondering if any of you knew a good website to visit to find out more information about it. Or, if any of you have any off-hand knowledge you'd like to share here, I'd love to read it.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
    -Shawn

(p.s., if you're interested in purchasing it before I list it on ebay or if you want any info/photos, etc. feel free to email me at trope1975@yah##.com (that's yahoo.com obviously, I just dont want some computer worm to find my email address and spam away. Thanks again.))

Your luggage is in all likelihood from Schedoni, who has been making them since the 308 came into the market.

There was an interesting article about Schedoni in Rosso (the FNA mag) a couple editions back.

I also have a brief brochure showing their products for the various cars. And yes, I have a complete set for my own 308. Even got an ultra rare piece for the 288 GTO.

It's now available for many models thru the Owner's Site. Not 348 yet.
I know someone that may take it. How much??

You should just throw it out on this thread. I'll bet just as many people see it here as on ebay.

We discuss ebay items pretty regularly.

I was going to order my set (308) but the dollar went to he--.
Tifosi, did your set come with the car or did you buy it later??

Got it off ebay actually. Was sold as 328 luggage, but the set for the 308 is identical. It is however 20 years old, just like the car.

I have bought Schedoni luggage for my TR ($1250), 348 Spider($1100) and BB512i($1000) over the years and have actually used it on road trips.

Not sure the F-40 ever had its own set. I have to check in my Schedoni brochure, but from memory I would say, that I haven't seen one.

I thought it was already odd to find 288 GTO luggage. And the F-40 is even more cramped.

Actually, Schedoni has opened outlets here in the US.

There's one in Houston at Neiman Marcus Galleria.

Don't know if they have the Ferrari item catalog, but will be shopping for Valentine's Day later, so a good excuse to check!

"ahem, excuse me but for MY F40.... would you happen to have....
and for my poor friends ratty old 308......"

Don't forget VALENTINE'S DAY you guys! At your own peril. LOL

The 308 set btw is a bit of overkill, barely fits into the trunk. 4 pieces get in there fairly thight. When I'm using it, I only use three and a soft bag in the front.

V-day makes me already nervous. What to get, what to get?

Is the luggage for the 308 and the 328 exactly the same? Is the trunck the same in both? Would 348 luggage fit into a 328 trunck?

    Thanks for the info.

Those are great questions as I have wondered that myself once I realized what a thight fit the 4 pieces are. After all my set was sold on ebay as a 328 set.

Since the 308/328 set does not have any car markings (unlike others where it states the type as e.g. in the 288 GTO one) you can't really tell.

However it is my belief that the trunk spaces are identical. I have also read that, but I'm open on this one, maybe somebody can proove otherwise?

As far as the 348 luggage goes, I would say probably not. I never had a set, but I have seen pictures. The 348 set is made for the deep space in the front, which is very different from the long 'tube' in the back of a 308/328.

    Well,
For my birthday my gf tried to get me a Ferrari wheelie bag... On back order.
For Christmas my gf tried to get me an F40 1/12 model...... On back order.
I sent her a link to Ferrari pathes so God only knows WHAT will be on back order NOW!! LOL :)

But yea, Luggage that would sort of fit in the F40 would be nice. Otherwise a couple of duffle bags is all you have room for.

    Thanks for checking,
    Rick

I got two Ferrari sport duffle bags from Exoticar. They fit EXACTLY into the 308 trunk. That's what I use for day to day transportation. The Schedoni luggage is really more for showing off...

I'll go with Tifosi on that. 308=328 on trunk size, while a 348 is a whole other game!

Re: Valentine's: MY gf will be gone on travels! Up to the frozen north of Chicago. Should I observe it early? Act like it never happened??? Thoughts? LOL

She's gonna be driving all around.

Valporiso, Oberlien, a few other college towns. She comes into Chicago and flies out of Clevelend. She does like to hear some live Blues.

I did recommend some North Face gloves last week. Best I could do.

Bought some new 4 buckle Salomons, myself. She doesn't like the cold at all!

House of Blues on Dearborn and the river, but if she doesn't like the cold, she is flying the wrong direction.

Back to baggage..... I mean LUGGAGE, ........ I'll check on that F40 set when I get a current quote on the 308. I think it was 4000 Euro on the Owner's Site, for the GTB set.

I'll check this evening at the mall.

Ok, let's try to bring this derailed thread back on track: Here a picture of my luggage set. The center piece actually should be upright and that would allow the 4th piece to sit next to it. The red/black pouch is not part of the set.

Right, with the long pc. upright the fourth piece would fit in!

Man those later cars look sooo clean compared to my dusty carb'd one!

I would think our man could move the 348 luggage on this site, but maybe ebay is better market.

Great recovery on the thread, BTW.
