Now I got mine, I'm very curious. Here are my questions and I really hope someone can answer them:

    1. How many 360 are in the US (Total)?

    2. How many 360 Coupe and Spider are in the US?

    3. Among the total of all the 360 is the US. That's the ratio of F1 : 6-Speed?

Thank you for your wisdom. Inquire minds wants to know..........

    Pure speculation:

    1999-2003 = 4 years
    1000 cars/year int US market = 4000 cars + 200 Challenge
    (60% to 50%)/(40% to 50%) Coupe/Spider
    70%/30% F1/M6

Is it really as many as 1000/year? I thought I read more like 4 - 500, but I confess I really have no idea. I would have thought more like 80/20 for the F1/M6 ratio, also, but again no foundation for this guess.

My understanding is 850/year to the US.
I believe once the spyder was being produced,
it has been more like 70/30... but the overall
might be 60/40 given the first year was 0/100.
And F1 is more than 70% in the US... I've
    heard as high as 90%!

Total Ferraris to US was 1023, 1185, 1200, in
    2000, 2001, and 2002, respectively. FWIW.

What's wrong with the MT? Why are people buying the F1? Just curious. I know F1 is high tech and racing etc... But I thought it's fun to shift it yourself.

The fact is during my shopping experience. There are more like 95% F1 to 5% MT.

This is driven more by Ferrari marketing and manufacturing decisions than consumer preference. In the last year or so, stick shift (as opposed to F1) cars are very difficult for dealers to get, the factory just isn't building them, even when you go into the dealer and say you want to order one. The response is basically, "Sorry, we can't promise a stick, if you want a 360, plan on F1".
