hello does anyone know what the 30k service with clutch and t-o bearing should cost?
the clutch parts were 2500 ish and i was quoted 6500 for the service.. the service is up to 7500 i think... does doing this service really increase the the value of the car? or do us ferrari owners make that up to make ourselves feel better about spending as much on a service visit as a ricer boy would on his whole car? geez these things are almost as expensive to keep as a 42' carver
Unless you want to keep the car for life, or have a very ignorant buyer when you sell the car, this will matter a lot. Books, service records, and an on-time service history are three "must have's" for me for any F-Car. Welcome to the world of the prancing horse.
It helps out to have all of the service records. The dealer will usually take off at least $5K off the trade if it was never serviced.
Then its better to lose $5,000 than to spend $10,000 on a testarossa 30k service. Mine was over $12,000, but it included new tires.
