Is it supposed to be distorted like that Steve, or have I buggered up opening it?

Could be a 250lm but a very squiggly one

    Cheers

I thinks Mal'***** the nail on the head.

The shape we all associate with the 250GTO was revised for 1964. There is a bit of info on the QV500 website.

Does look jaw droppingly luverly, dunnit?

    OK - Close enough,

The car in the picture is infact a 1961 chassised 250 GTO, which was rebodied in 1964 after competeing in the Targa Florio 1963 coming 4th overall, (First GT over the line), and 5th overall in 1964, again First GT. After a full factory refurb and rebody the car was used exclusively by Enzo until 1969 when it was sold off - Chassis number 3413 GT.

Only 4 exist the one above and 5571 GT, 5573 GT & 5575 GT all reputed to be worth more than £6 million, except Enzo's which may fetch £7.5 M ?

I agree with Stig - absolutely stunning looking - Better than a standard GTO - Whatever that is ?

The '64 GTO is a fabulous car - often to be seen at the Goodwood Revival being driven by Damon Hill (the Bamford-owned car [reg APB 1] with the blue stripe and Union Jack) - and also of course the subject of a very cheesy song by Thomas Dolby...!

Just having a model of it is exciting...
