Replacing Wheel Rims on the 355 spider...

    Just got the news from Ferrari of Long Island that I have successfully bent my front two rims. The cost of replacing them: $1,400 each...yes, each.

    Am I being robbed blind here? If anyone knows of a good source for the rims, please let me know.

    Try buying direct from Speedline. They're the OEM for F355 rims. I can't remember the website but check out the back page of any Cavallino and you'll see it.

    Contact a local race car shop (high end road race) and ask who they use for straightening wheels. Many can be fixed.

    check e-bay and/or Ferrari club websites and newsletters, bc they are usually for sale at a huge discount.

    Your being ripped off!!!! DO NOT buy the rims from the dealer.

    They have BRANDNEW 355 rims for sale for $425 pounds. At the current exchange rate, in dollars, that is about $680 plus shipping. So you can get BOTH rims for the price of the ONE the dealer is gonna try to rip off for. If you don't need brand new rims I would go with a good used set. You can save a few hundred bucks.

    I have used these guys with really delicate OEM Alfa Romeo Wheels. Bent in and scratched in accident, returned to me AS NEW. Maybe 150 per wheel?
