Text limits?

When people post large pictures, the screen scrolls from right to left rather than just up and down. Do you think you'd be able to make a hard limit of characters per line, so that even if someone posts a huge picture we don't have to scroll to the right to view long lines of text?

I haven't seen this done before either, so it would be innovative
