Some details are filtering out from the organizers of the main events that will take place this August. Developing into a huge Ferrari gathering.

More auctions are planned. Christie's is moving to Thursday night at the Monterey Jet Center and David Gooding is moving to the Equestrian Center, formerly Christie's site, for the Sunday night finale. With Kruse participating with Concorso Italiano Friday afternoon, there should be no shortage cars for sale!

Ferrari's at Pebble Beach is still evolving. There are 4 classes planned and possibly a knockout display along the breakwater. There have been 100 entries submitted for the 40 openings! The GT closed class is composed of only one-off show cars. Another class is reserved for only race winners of Le Mans, Daytona, Targa, or the Mille Miglia. Some cars applying for Pebble have not been seen in 40 years. Remember, Rolls Royce is the other featured marque and they want equal space at Pebble. That is not leaving alot of room for the other classes. Roll Royce have a world tour in progress that will end at Monterey for the weekend.

Concorso Italiano will only judge Dino's this year. It would be a huge task to judge the expected Ferrari entries this year, so you have more time to spend visiting the vendor booths.

The International Meet following PB will be fantastic. Most of the Ferrari's at Pebble have signed up for a rematch the following Tuesday at Quail Lodge. There are 300 Ferrari's expected to enter.

    More to follow.....
