I am trying to find out what is a fair price to pay for a clean 1989 328 GTS, red/tan, with 12,500 miles? Already had the 15K service done. Will do my own research but any suggestions?
    Thanks for the help.

I would say 50k even, assuming the major belts have been done.

Keep in mind it would be due for a 30k now due to age. Make sure you check out what was done on the 15k and if it needs anything else.

You know, the "fair" price is what is fair to you and the seller. Cavallino magazine has the high end at $62K, FML less, and opinions are all over the range. If it is near perfect and up to date on service, it should approach or be in the 50's. But if no one will buy it, then it might drop into the 40's.

Remember the 700-mile one for $82K last year? It was worth that to the seller, but no buyer existed. No matter what you pay, 100 people will tell you that you paid way too much, and 100 people will tell you that you got a good deal.

Hmmm, looks like the 1987 is a little lower - I didn't know the 89's got that much of a premium - Thanks for the info F328 BobD.
