Ever seen a Mondial with a 'Boxer' 2tone paint job??

    ive seen 308's and 308gt4 with the 'boxer' style black bottom half, but has anyone got or ever seen a mondial done in the same style??
    or
    would it look just plain nasty???

    i would love to see pictures of one, to make up my own mind.
    (before i spend my cash and regret it)

    Are you thinking of the paint for a cab or coupe? is this for an 8 or QV with the black bumpers?

    Its a 84' 3.0 QV coupe in Rosso, with those nice big black bumpers......

    I've seen a 328 with a Boxer paint job and it looked very nice.

    Picturing it in my mind, a Mondial would look nice with the Boxer paint scheme.

    Interesting with the blue. Seems to emphasize the large glass area, as well as the side bear-claw grates. Not sure with Rossa Corsa. Personally, I like the contrast with the black bumpers. I have seen where bumpers are body color in a number of colors, including red, white and blue. Personally, I am not wild about it. I think it looks OK. But, I have never seen a Mondial QV or 8 with the side sections body color, and the bumpers, front & back, black. I would be curoius as to how that looks versus full blown boxer treatment.

    are there any clever computer boffin's out there that could
    'photo shop' a red and black mondial so we can see what it looks like??

    i can only just turn this dang thing on...........

    I have a "86 328 GTS with factory "Boxer" trim and I have seen one 3.2 Mondial Coupe with the same treatment. I love it on the 328, but it is definitely an acquired taste on the Mondial. Incidentally, I do not believe it was offered as an option after 1986.

    The blue one I posted earlier is one that I PhotoShop'd. After posting my first message, I started looking around on the web for red Mondials, but strangely, I couldn't find one (one at least in a clear, side profile shot). That blue one was the first one I came across. I then just took the paintbrush and coloured the lower half black.

    Looks really nice.
