Driving on the NJ Turnpike, I saw a shiny new black Vette with the license plate "GODZGIFT" Pretty arrogant but funny
Yes, it's an "expression" actually, but OOH WOW, brings it to relevant terms. It was the iceing on the cake for me.
Well, it's only a BMW, but my M-Coupe has a license plate that is so obscure that only the most obsessive F1 fan would probably recognize it, "FW25F1." It refers to BMW's 2003 F1 car, the FW25. I doubt anyone who has ever seen it (outside maybe of the USGP) has thought it to be anything other than a randomized plate, which is fine with me.
When I had my old Mazda truck I always wanted to get "PAID FO". It would be more fun on an old car than on an F-car. On an Ferrari it would be like a big sign saying "key me, I dare you". These would also be fun, I've only seen a few of them: On the offensive side... UKFAUYA 3M WOlB LGBNAF (Hint: Lets Get Buck...) Offensive for the internet chat groupie in all of us... LOLUSUK USUKIMO For a Ferrari how about... 4PASNU NO KIDS DA SHZL NZOOHH IYHTA (If You Have To Ask)
UKFAUYA (pig latin) I remember hearing about this one years ago. A guy actually got this one, but the DMV caught it after the fact and wanted it back. He was contending that it stood for: United Kids For A United Youth America. Yeah, right... 3M WOlB imagine seeing this one in the rear-view mirror, DMV wouldn't let you have it anyway, its an old joke, along the same lines as 3M-TA3. I just thought of one more. In high school (1989?) we met a carload of girls our age in a Mustang with plate: G-STRING. Despite our best efforts at the time, we never did find if that was accurate.
And another one. Also in high school another guy had a Mustang (trend?) which was... TOONA This of course referred to tuna, which was a fish, which is associated with a portion of the female anatomy, which... at the time, it was pretty scandalous.
Formally attached to my past 308, "IZALGOOD" Sad but true, however, plates will look great on my new TR
