Owners in Humid climates, how do you keep you car from rusting?

I did a little looking on Yahoo and found many links to site that basically say the mold thing is a scam. As I pointed out, why is it suddenly a concern. It never was when I lived in Houston.

Is what you need a way show some form of reasonable countermeasure to mold growth during construction so as to beat off the lawyers and get a better insurance rate?

 

Look we fight it, in medical construction, but of over 2000 kinds of mold in this environment, TWO are toxic. The rest are just unsightly.

We use Clorox. Haven't lost a paying customer yet. .02

Holy thread revival!

I use a stand alone $200 dehumidifier plumbed to drain outside so I don’t have to empty the bucket, teamed up with a mini-split air conditioning unit. It easily keeps humidity below 50%. You know where I live, so that’s pretty impressive. It defeats critters too because insects need humidity.

I live in an extremely humid environment...have my Ferrari for over 15 years, no rust. Rain and salt cause rust here, not humidity.
