You may be able to have it rebuilt, a few places offer this and its usually around $150-$250 Permatune makes a replacement for around $400 also I believe for some not all models
what kind of car--the models varry between years and us VS euro. TRutlands had a good stock of them by the way. PS I sold mine (80 gtsi) of ebay about a year ago for 200 (for the set)

Thanks, my car was delivered new to australia so how do i know which one i need? 1985 308gtsi qv not sure if euro or us. the manual says med 803 the car has a med 805 fitted..... I have all the service history (low klms) so technical can i call italy to get advice?
I have the 805A version. My unit is for a USA car, and I am told the Euro cars had a different unit. It looks as if my unit will not work for your car. Sorry. Ken
