    I was searching on the web for information on people I went thourgh bootcamp with, I couldnt find any information about any of htem but I found some on my former Senior Drill Instructor SSgt.Diggs. I knwo none of you care but I thought it was kinda neat seeing him again, he had a voice that sounded like a old lady that has smoked her entire life, a very viscous SDI. I was in Platoon 2066 with him and we won Honor Platoon which all it means is bragging rights and having them announce your the honor platoon on graduation in front of your family while you march on the parade deck in front of the stands.Oooorahhhh

    I went through boot camp air force in 1989 at Lackland AFB San Antonio, TX. Nothing like the Marines or ARMY I know, but still a mind **** for a 19 year old. Wore my Air Force Gloves all the time (hands in pockets)!!

    I remember my 2 DI's Sgt English and Hardy.

    English was a chick...imagine that...a chick for a hard ass DI. No way you could win with her.

    Ahem... marines run in and mess your hair up, army stays and fights the war. I believe the army takes the enemy's surrender. ;) daddy was a marine at khe sahn during tet, after spending all that time with his snuffies from the corps, i decided to go straight to west point.

    there is no acronym for 'marine' because they would not be smart enough to get it anyway. hahaha

    although i agree on pendleton, they are middle class kids that had nothing better to do with their lives so the moved to oceanside. how droll...
