I sold my 85 Euro 308 GTS QV over the Christmas - New Years holiday and replaced it with this 348. I've had it just over a month and love it. What a great car!

What do you think 355 or 360 rims would look like on it?

IMHO, I think 348 rims look great on 348's. Why change them?

Here are 355 rims on a 348 (another board member John Stecher). I have just found out that there is another board member in MN with a 348 with 360 rims on it (no picture of that yet).

Ken, I actually like the looks of the 348 rims better than the 355's. Very, very sharp car. Just like I remember it that fateful day in Denver! Mine's on a truck and should be here tonight or tomorrow a.m.

355 wheels look good on a 348, but I would keep it stock myself. I know 360 wheels fit, but they just dont look right in my opinion.

If yuo want a cheap cosmetic upgrade I would leave the rims and paint the top body color.

Very nice looking ride btw. :)

Here is my 348 Spider with 360 riims - My personal opinion is I like it. It makes the car more modern looking while maintaining the agressive look. The wide rear stance is emphasized.

When I made the change last year I posted for opinion - good and bad - about 75% thought it was an improvement. Of course I still have the original rims for the person who desires all original.

To each his own - but the 18" are great and only enhance the handling on an already wonderful handling car.

    Hi:

I have a set (actually two...one has slicks!) of 355 Challenge wheels. Aside from looking great..they improve the handling of the car....less unsprung weight...more rubber.

    Very nice 348 Ksullender!!

Thats exactly the same 348 I wish owning one day.
I would keep the original wheels cuz it just looks perfect.

I would prefer the 355 wheels on it over the original set, but I do not like the look of the 360's on that car.

Iusually don't like to mess with the perfection of originality BUT in this case I think the 355 or Challenge wheels are a GREAT improvement, wider looking, more site into brake calipers and rotors. The 360 wheels look a little weird, JMO though. Nevertheless, CONGRATS on a Beautiful car !!!

Looks excellent!! I prefer period correct looking wheels (usually stock) but these wheels look very racy on this car. I'm not the hugest fan of of the 360 or 355 wheels, but what kind of performance gains are we talking about? Theres a possibility I'd trade some looks for extra grip! ;)

I think the 355 Challenge wheels look awesome on the 348... Better than stock and other Ferrari wheels. Heres an aditional picture of Ingerene's car.

All of the above are an improvement over stock in my opinion. Appearance wise I like the 355 wheels best, while the 360 wheels still look good, better than they do on the 360, IMHO. However considering the performance benefits, the Challenge wheels definitely seem to be the way to go, and they look quite good as well.

Good to see you posting pics of my car Pat!! I personally think that the 355 wheels make the 348 a lot less tail happy when you are driving it hard. When I had the 348 rims on my car it was very tail happy when you got on it hard coming out of a turn.

Anyway buddy I havent been on here a lot lately because I have been traveling so much, fire me off an email and lets get together this summer. When are you restarting your Ferrari hunt?

    John
