    That looks realy nice, i am on the look out for a red 575m though, but i would love to have your 550 in my collection

    Funny thing happened to the 1/18 550: Mattel allegedly had problems with the wheels and they had to cancel some shipments. So right now, this model is a tad rare in the States. I had to order mine from the UK.

    My 550 is NOT a Mattel, Burago or UT Models.
    I work hard on it with new paint, many new features etc...
    Unfortunately, can't remember the name of the company which made it !!
    But must be easy to find.

    Arizonaguy, did you do the polishing yourself? (What kind of polish was used?) Either way, it looks great. Aardy's, yours looks great too. Nice work.

    I did not polish it myself... It is part of the HotWheels Millenium Collection, which was polished aluminum cars.

    Hi Eric,
    Very nice pictures but you can do something to improve the look.
    Look at my pictures : paint the center of the rear lights in aluminium and also remove the additional headlights in the front grill and paint behind the glass in aluminium. You will see the difference.
    Also paint in black around the side indicators like above.
