This is not a FerrariChat.com site, you have to register separately for it.

Thanks Rob. I signed up and made my first picks. Should we come up with some prizes for the top finisher(s)? Ahem, Mr. Habbits.

I've motioned that I'll at least offer another FerrariChat.com polo to the winner. If I can contribute more or we can get the sponsors to contribute, that would be great.

HAH! I just noticed that while re-reading your post in the racing forum. In my haste to join I didn't read the entire post. I humbly accept any and all punishments.

Is it the same as the Yahoo group? You can only pick each driver and team 3 times? Looks like you can pick qualifying and final results differently...I like this!

Are you limited to how many times you can pick a certain team or driver, etc?

    Some of the rules...

    Player Scoring
A player's individual scoring is based on his/her predictions and the outcome of the race:

    Qualifying
    A correct 1st, 2nd and 3rd prediction wins you 10, 8 and 6 points respectively.
You win 3 points for picking a correct driver but in the wrong top three position.
You win 1 point if the driver you picked does not qualify in the top three at all!

    Race
    A correct 1st, 2nd and 3rd prediction wins you 10, 8 and 6 points respectively.
You win 3 points for picking a correct driver but in the wrong top three position.
You win 1 point if the driver you picked does not finish in the top three at all!

    Bonus
10 points for predicting fastest lap driver.
10 points for predicting number of race finishers.
10 points for predicting the last driver to finish.

    Quinella:
A quinella worth 15pts is awarded if you pick the first two finishers IN ANY ORDER.

    Trifecta:
A trifecta worth 65pts is awarded if you pick the first three finishers IN CORRECT ORDER.

Players receive team bonus points for participating in a league with more than 2 players in it.

Hmm... seems complicated and too many variables. Oh well, I am sure we will adapt although it seems like Yahoo was better (for now at least - this could change I suppose)

So I guess there is no limit to how many time you can choose a driver?

THat is how I understand it, which is why I asked the same. Kind of makes it silly. I should start another user called Schumey and enter him + Ferrari as first everytime just to see how it works out.

Yes, you'll never win just by picking Shuey though. Even if Shuey wins 75%, which he won't, then there will still be entrants that get more points on the 25% he doesn't win and also hit the quenella and trifectas.

The newsletter is getting a few more. 45 entrants right now.

Season starts this weekend, so you can still get in at the begining now.
