Amazing!!!!!! I love that shot, hell its my new background! ...one question though, whats the yellow fella in the background? My guess is some Ferrari 250... my room mate guesses a T-bird, and the more I look at it I see the T-bird, any people 'in the know' out there?!
Yeah that yellow thing over there looks to be a T-bird. I dont really like the wheels in that shot, but I can p-shop those out
I just can't get enough of it! Look at the reflectionon the ground! Stunning, I want a 550 soo bad... a jet wouldn't be bad either. I love this shot! Its makes me want to start a airfield day with our small local airport... any one into event organizing (and knows people in the midwest that would bring their nice cars)?
Satisfying fans all over F-Chat. One tifosi at a time. Not sure, but keep in mind that there is an "Auto Toy Store" based out of Texas as well, with high ratings. This is starting to get confusing?!
it looks to be a 1955 T-Bird. Maybe the 56's had that bumper too, but the 57's did not. A very beautiful car, in my opinion.
Those wheels need to go. Stock rims look best, IMO. I like the 575 modular rims too. Am tempted to get a set, but I don't think it will improve much and isn't worth the cost difference. Has anyone put 575 wheels on their 550? I take it the offset is the same? --Dan
Someone on this board, if I'm not mistaken, did exactly that. Put 575 modular wheels on his 550. I don't recall if he had them custom made or if they just fit. --Dan
Oops. As much as I like the 19" modular rims on the 575M, I gotta admit I'm a little more partial to the stock 575M rims. Probably the minority on this one. John T, what's the little sticker at the bottom of wheels (on the ground) for?! Image Unavailable, Please Login
That car in the back, it has too high a roofline to be a tbird, or so it appears. The rims are very nice on the 550, very similar to chrome rims they put on the DB7's. Ghost I agree stock looks good on the 575M, the 550 Barchetta looks best with the modular.
with enough $$$ you can get a jet in any color you want. i have seen several black jets.... but a black car is impossible to keep clean..... a jet!! no way!( LOL )l. i know of a customers aircraft ( Gulfstream) that has that Ford Mystic paint that changes colors. something THAT big with the light hitting it at different angles is stunning!. i love the hangar in this thread, with or without the toys!!
You're not alone. From pictures, I felt the same way. I found the modular wheels, including the 550 / 360 mod wheels too "busy". The 575 ones are actually very simple and clean in person. --Dan
Good question.. I didn't took that pic so I can't really help.. But looks like they put that sticker for when they park the car (to get the position they want) ? As you can see it doesn't make sense of what I just said.
Exactly. Posted a picture in my earlier post of the "sexy stock" wheels. Has anybody upgraded their 550 with these wheels?
