Ok folks one of our members and others are dealing with some of the worst weather in history

    http://novascotia.cbc.ca/regional/servlet/View?filename=ns_snowmon20040223

Lets post some nice Warm Weather shots so Neil and any of the other members suffering in the cold can see that there is SUMMER at the end of that tunnel of snow....

    Keep warm and be safe

the last I heard local emergency services are only going out with snow plow escorts and marshaling at local fire stations before transporting people to the hospital in the snowplow.

BTW this has been going on for a week, the grocery stores have no food left in them because the delivery trucks can't get out..

My mom lives around 5 miles from Neil and said they have imposed Curfew on anyone out past 11pm full blown emergency

There was a story on the news today about a lady going into labour, but she couldn't get out of the house and the ambulance couldn't get in. A tow truck driver with a big plow cleared a path through 6 foot drifts. Got to the door and put her in the front end shovel! I know it's hard to believe but that is what they said...he got her to the hospital and she gave birth 7 minutes later! I'll try to find the official story.

It was so warm in Toronto today I steam cleaned my interior! Got all the salt out.

Its a balmy 21 degrees in central NY right now. Its supposed to get into the 40's by the end of the week! This winter has been really great. January was very cold with many days below 0. February wasnt bad at all though. The mosr amazing part is it looks as if all the snow will melt by next week! Last year there was 4 ft of snow on the ground at this time.

The pic on the right with people walk must be only a day or two ago. Before that there were no clear roads.
I'll post some pics when the stores are up and running, no digi cam.
