The Broadripple area used to be full of bars and clubs for younger people. Since I am now officially a dinosaur, I can't vouch for the quality of the hunting grounds.

The Broadripple area is great. When i lived there 10 years ago there were about 20 places you could get drinks within 2 square blocks. Location is about 6 miles north of the downtown at @ 62nd just east of Meridian.
Also, since the downtown mall was built, it is happening there as well.
If you go to Broad Ripple, be prepared to be bombarded with 18-24 year olds running around drunk:)

We had a good time, but mainly just did downtown. The Irish pub was the best, but also did Rock Bottom. Of course we had to hit Union Jacks. Hooters also got a little of our business along with Brad's Pink Flamingo (we actually lived through the experiece - we saw an interesting part of Indy). :)
