    Hi,

Just need a bit of advise. Thinking of moving to Oz are there any dealers there. Probably in melbourne. Are the any websites? and more importantly how much do they cost to own and service?

There are also many specialists in Melbourne.

I am just one of about a dozen that do a half tidy job.

There are authorised Ferrari dealers in every state as well as other technicians. In melbourne the dealer is Lance Dixons in Richmond. www.lancedixon.com.au or if you want to email them [email protected]. They have a great showroom and make an excellent latte. There's a good gathering in Melbourne with an active club. Make sure you contact us if you come to town. And if you haven't been to Melbourne before. It's a great city. With some excellent driving roads nearby. I was just out today for a 200k run in my 355. Some super back roads and and fast driving.

Well I think I am going to go for a 4200 Spyder in the end. It's under 200k, it's near new and it has Tubi. Still a few things to sort out, but finance looks good, insurance is still in the air... Aircon - is your guy good? He never got back to me after I told him what I am looking for... may be he lost number? whatever... what are his details again?

*shrug* every post I've read on the Massa says it;'s a good car and I'll be happy withit. I cannot afford my dream (360CS) so I decided no point in going for a "cheaper ferrari" like 355 (even tho I know they are great cars, but 10yrs old ... it's getting to be an issue for me)

    any last comments? :)

Iggy...for a tad under $200K you can buy the Allan Simonsen, John Bowe, Mark Noske Craig Baird 360Challenge car from MCR in Richmond VIC.

It's Marlboro red, super lightweight, many subtle mods, ohlins TT44 shocks (the best available), spares etc etc etc

Never crashed (panel scuffs and bruises only...still has every original body panel fitted), fantastic race history, faster than a CS too...

Of course it's a track only car in VIC, but NSW and WA seem to be able to use them on the road with a bit of trickery regarding rego......

Or, for even less Money there are 2 Maserati 4200 Trofeo cars available in the same shop....same deal with useage but you could get one of those and still have around $50K to spend on a nice road car......

Just thought you should at least know....

    Thanks for the info...

Spoke to Mike, he couldn't even get me a quote due to my age :(

As for the 360 challange and the massas, I want a road car... something to go cruising in on weekends and stuff... I already spent 50k on a daily driver (new Jeep Cherokee Limited)... and I am planning on buying a Formula Ford next year and racing that instead of a road car.
