Beware of this guy named race308 or real name Jim Carpenter at 512 n Hassayampa Prescott AZ 86303 I bought a 308 input shaft that was described as excellent. When I received it, every gear tooth was pitted, 2 bearings had seized up on the shaft and the shaft was galled badly. It had been "bead blasted" to look good on the photo. I bought this shaft Dec 8 2003. To date, I have had zero response from this seller. I'm hoping someone out there knows this guy, and can help light a fire under his arse to do the right thing and refund my cash. He can have the shaft back, but he's paying for shipping. It's a glorified paper weight.

Just a quick follow up............stay away from this guy........he never returned my correspondence.....thus got the shaft..........that's a sad pun.

Yeah, I had to tell him that on x date I would be hiring someone to file a small claims case, it got the parts shipped. The parts were a good price and look nice, just a pain to get them shipped. Later I bought a tach on ebay from racer308 not realizing it was the same person....it didn't work, but it was only $50 and looked very nice so I kept it... I glued the guts out of a $25 sun tach into the case and it's fine now.
Race308 had a throttle body for a 308gtsi listed and I asked if he had one for my 328 as he had a Microplex listed for a 328 he replied he did, but he sent me the 308 tb, I finally got a hold of him told him I needed a 328tb or my money back, i could tell by the way he was hesitating and not answering I wouldn't get it back so I had Kermit bore it out and modify it anyway, he had to weld some pieces to it. I wouldn't buy from him again he's very shady.
