I am involved with a MAJOR television show that is doing a 1 hour special on Ferrari Super Cars, the 288GTO, the F40, the F50 and the Enzo.

I need a stock F40 to be showcased next to mine for a show that will be filming in Toronto on July 22-23, 2004.

Then later this year we are planning a super car comparison of the progression of the Ferrari 288 through the Enzo and you will be invited back for that special.

If you are interested in having your car in this show, please contact me, and no, it does not pay anything and you will have to pay to get your car to the track in Toronto, hey this is just for fun... but it is cool to have your car tested and filmed at speed by a professional driver. You will get credits on the show....

Hey Chris, I have each of those cars that I would glady ship to you for your event. Shipping should be reasonably cheap since they're all 1/18 scale. If you put them on the ground and get the camera low enough....

I have the 288GTO (through a friend of mine), I have an F40 but it is not stock, but we could use it.

I do NOT have access to an F50, I might have an Enzo lined up....

I do not know Mr. Stroll, so it would be wrong of me to even speculate that any of his cars might be available...

Doesn't hurt to ask. Call ferrari of Quebec L.Stroll owns it or even Ferrari of Ontario and inquire, maybe they may have cars available.

HelloChris, Why don't you check with Dan Heard in New Orleans, he has them all. The F50 was just toytally redone for the monterey show and I know that he will send all the 4 cars to Monterey..He might do a detour for theTV show.

Why don't you fly your film crew to Melbourne and use Linsday Fox's cars. He has 246, T'Rossa, 575, 288, F40, F50 and Enzo, also Porsche 959, Jag XJ 220 and just about any other supercar you care to name.

All lined up and ready to go. He also owns his own airbase you can test them on.

Also in Melbourne are 360 N-GT, 550 GTS and 2x F40 LM (one's a GTE) but you're too late to include the F50 GT...it's gone to the UK for sale.

Plus, costs are relatively low and the weather's nice late in the year.......

I talked to Chris yesterday.... Chris and I both know F40 owners, but it is interesting, if a person ownes an F40 it seems they fall into 1 of 2 groups...

Group 1 is the person who actually drives his car, so far nearly every person I have run across who drives his F40 has modified it in some way, usually Tubi, LM's etc. I have plenty of access to these cars (I have one in my own garage).

Group 2 is the unmodified car, but so far everyone I have come across has an owner that just wax's the car and does not drive it and would never consider taking it to a closed track for a bit of exercise.

So.......... I am still looking, I do know where I can get the cars I need, but I just thought it would be more fun to use "owners" cars as opposed to going to some dealer friends that just pull the car off the lot.

    Thanks,

    Chris
