I recently sold my Spider and am ready to give the Stradale a try. Any regrets from owners? Everyone seems to love the car, but is anyone unhappy with it, or have issues with the car?
    Thanks,
    Tom

I would be interested in this also. After 3 years on the Spider list I changed it to a Stradale. Should be here in a week or so. I'll let you know what I think.

I do wish they had the 6-spd as an option though. The F1 transmission is my only question mark on the car.

NO regrets at all. It's a fantastic car. It's not as plush as a "normal" 360, so it may not suit everyone as a daily driver, but IMO it's what a Ferrari is all about. The F1 transmission is something of a mixed bag. Tooling around town at low revs and part throttle, it's a little erratic, so a 6 speed would be nice in that situation. But on the track or just driving hard, it's sublime.

i have driven one... very fast, very tight... still sounds better with a tubi...it really needs a 6speed, the 6speeds on the 360s are very nice and much more fun to drive than the f1...an f1 could be a headache in the future with maintaince issues

None at all. I even like the F1 gearbox, and I never thought I'd ever hear myself say that.

the F1 gearbox in the stradale is fantastic. period. tons of fun to drive. the car wouldn't be the same "experience" with a manual gearbox.

the car was designed specifically around the F1 gearbox. it's perfect. if you wanty old technology then don't buy a stradale. as for the F1 and maintenance issues i haven't heard of anybody having any maintenance issues with the F1 gearbox. i suppose that eventually some components will wear out and need service, but that's the nature of things. when it breaks you just deal with it. if you are unduly worried about maintence costs then you probably should steer away from ferraris :)

    Hehe...
Yes, I really have had so much fun in all those Ferrari's. I especially like the Enzo, F40 and of cause the CS. It handles better than my Lotus and those BRAKES! You should hear the ENGINIE and the gearbox is so quick and easy. I'm so happy that i bought that car!

    Some pics...

    The CS:

Well, actually I think - and I'm 45 and I'm a really "old Man" - it's better! I owned a 360 Modena with the F1 gear and I was so disappointed, but then The Enzo and CS came. Now I prefers the F1 Gear - especially on the track.
