Just interested what the stradale costs in Denmark. I know Denmark hammers cars with tax( I still cant believe you guys let the government get away with 70% of your hard earned cash!!)

I second this opinion. I have had my CS for about 2 or 3 weeks. On the track, or driving hard, it is the most fantastic ride! (And relatively comfortable too.) Around town the F1 is a little disapointing. I love manual shifters. On the track, the F1 rules, but for tooling around, I would prefer the 6 speed. Then again, most people oohing and ahhing at it think the F1 shifters are the coolest.

Also, the lack of any floor insulation means that you hear a lot of wind hissing and sand and rocks kicking up under the car. The exhaust note interferes with any kind of radio listening (if you care). You also miss out on the beautiful leather that comes in the standard 360s.

Don't expect to get too much life from the Pirelli PZero Corsa tires (treadware 60).

Btw, I also have a spider (6 speed). The CS is noticably quicker, and louder.

I think the CS makes a great 2nd or 3rd sports car for occasional hard driving, and sharing with other enthusiasts.

I have had my CS for 1 and 1/2 month.

It is awesome. Can't help to drive it.

There are no regrets...except for the fact that it will be pretty hard to talk yourself out of a ticket driving this car....

No regrets whatsoever. I wanted this car so bad it hurt, figured if I had to get the F1 tranny to get one I would learn to live with it. I was a dyed-in-the-wool 6 speed manual lover and thought the F1 would be rude and clunky around town. It isn't - turned out to be the biggest surprise. It works PERFECTLY, shifts as smoothly at part throttle as an automatic in sport mode, bangs it home at full throttle in race mode and has handled everything in between with aplomb. If you own a Stradale and think it is clunky you might want to have it checked out at the dealer. The acceleration, braking, handling, sound and looks of the car are incredible. I love the interior as well - was never a fan of the aluminum trim in the Spider and Modena.

Three negative points: the Corsas are sticky, throw up a lot of pebbles and you can hear them at low speeds - at higher speeds I'm sure I have inadvertently thrown pebbles at cars behind me. The motor mounts are different and tranfer a bit more engine vibration through the cabin. And you WILL get busted at ridiculous speeds in this car - it is inevitable. :)

I can hear the radio perfectly fine in my car, if you're not hard on the throttle it's not loud at all.

And you should have gotten one with some leather, Ray. :)

Well without tax it cost about 143.670,00 Euro. It very hard to think that the government take actually more than 70% of MY money!

What a beauty! When I was buying mine I wonder how it will look in black and you car have blown my imagination away. Cool car...

Mine is in Rosso Scuderia which is after my opinion the best looking colour for a red Ferrari.

Here some pics my son has taken:

I was quite some time thinking about the Rosso Scuderia as it is really special. Two reasons why I have chosen black over Rosso Scuderia at the end: You are not driving around with a red and blinking arrow on top of your car ;-) [you are still heard good enough though] and all of my cars have been black so far [I go with old Henry Ford: You can have all colours as long as it is black].

Yes, but what does it cost to a Dane buying it from the main dealer(obviously you can't buy it without paying the taxes!) Unless you drive it around with dealer or tax free/plates or something.

Beautiful car. I agree with Ray. I would not have Stradale as the only Ferrari I have. This car's gotta be the weekend track car, not a long drive car. I might have to get the "back pad" for the drive.

Actually, the Stradale is a surprisingly good long-drive car (read here and here for more on that).

I did periodically stuff a pillow in my lower back... but then I do that in every car I own, including those with adjustable lumbar support.

it's actually as comfortable (i personally think it's even MORE comfortable) as the regular 360 modena. i would not hesitate to drive the 360CS for several hours at a time. after a few hours i'm ready to get out of ANY car :)

Yes, you can get the leather seats, but the Alacantera seats are SOOO good, and you don't slide around like leather. I love them. And the matt finish is more like a race car, which fits the Stradale. -Ray

please pardon the fog -- here is mine in Argento - perfect for slight understatement.

the car is completely righteous and truly from the Hand of God, as i commented on the F vs P thread.

for those of you with CS's in LA - for a couple of years, we have had Malibu GT2 Club meets for Cubans at Top of the World in Malibu [photos taken there]; and 3 of my GT2 friends now have CS.... so maybe we could have a CS party up there some day soon.. if you have an interest in getting together, drop an email to [email protected]

    tom,

as for regrets - 7 days in the shop to one day driving as they had to find a CEL, but gary at autogallery is great and the FNA rep flew down specifically to see my car... and we hope their assurances of future happy motoring come true....

i just drove 600 miles through Death Valley to go openroadracing.com at Battle Mtn, NV putting 1700 miles on in the middle of no where... in a porsche. [i bought tom's last gt2]. would i do that trip in the CS right now??? no. maybe after some trouble free mileage.
