Lets get some real input

What if you could organize a drive/day at a track or something. That could be a lot of fun.

Raising money for a charity would be a good idea. You good have raffles or something. All donations should go to the "raise money to help me buy a ferrari" fund.

 

allow bikes to come along on the rides. Seriously, I'm not being a jackass. Mainly the backroad rides...bikes (mine) can stay in back rather than be mixed in with cars. Like you said it's a safety issue...but trust me riding around car guys (some own bikes) is a lot safer than riding amongst the common idiot driver.

 

You can give kids with cancer rides in your car.

PCA does a toys for tots drive. Maybe you could find a children's hospital in the area and we could deliver toys or something they need?

 

I am a bit biased considering my brother has spina bifida. However, a really great program is the "Bennet Institute" located in Baltimore, MD. They host a variety of sports programs for physically handicapped kids. It was this program that helped my brother direct his energies, and his frustrations into something other than a self-destructive path of life.

In fact we always joke around that out of all of us, he became the sports star of the family. He runs the Baltimore Marathon using a wheel chair, and finishes ahead of many runners!

 

Anyone thought of a Fourth of July party or drive, because thats coming up?

 

How about two groups. The "touring" group for those who want to make the drive but go at slower speeds and the "spirited" group for those who may want to drive a bit quicker.

 

What about those with no car?

That would be a good idea. I love photography, one of my hobbies.

 

The problem being, how do we get to those points w/o a car?

 

I think what he may have been implying is that we ride along with others. I dunno.

 

Hey, now thats a good idea! That might be a little more trouble than its worth, to drive ahead to set up "the youngsters" with cameras to get the cars passing by, then what, they leave us their? Someone would have to turn around to pick us up...

No, just kidding............. I don't know... I travel a lot (for fun and cocktails)... I've got commitment issues - I do everything last minute. I'm more likely to pop in last minute then plan a month ahead. This drives my Wife and friends crazy. But, it'll happen & thanks for the invites.

 

Might need to supercharge em so we can keep up.
