Details of the 6 Hours of Moroso Endurance Karting Challenge
are nearly complete. We are currently in discussion with
potential sponsors whom may come on board to provide a
tent, catered food or anything else.

Anyone wishing to sponsor this event may contact me or
Johan Schwartz at Endurance Karting as Johan promises
whatever is given to the event, he will (in return) supply
an equal monetary amount of Karts.

We need to have anywhere from 20-25 teams taking part
in this event so please use the attached PDF forms to send
out to friends and associates whom may wish to be involved.
We will be making printed versions of this flyer to hand
out once our sponsorship package is in place.

We are working hard to make this a fun event. To that end,
most questions so far regard the Moroso Go Kart circuit itself,
    what to bring and costs.

Be assured, this circuit is built to full FIA standards. It is 30'
wide and paved with asphalt, smooth as a billiard table all the
way around with plenty of runoff. By the time of our event,
the circuit will feature lighting so we will be able to run at night.

The configuration we will use emphasizes fun as we will
be incorporating the three long straight-a-ways with the twisty
bits; it will NOT be anything like the layout at Speed Indoor
Karting. We encourage everyone to check out the Go Kart track
at Moroso to see for yourselves how well done this facility is.
Contact Donna Krammer at Moroso Motorsports Park to arrange
    a tour.

What to bring? Endurance Karting provides the Karts, gas, tires,
mechanics and more. If you do not have helmet, driving suit or
gloves all this is available through Endurance Karting. The best
thing to bring would be plenty of outdoor seating and any pit to
    driver communication equipment.

This is an outdoor event which will run rain or shine. What happens
if it rains? You will get wet!

Costs? For the 6-Hour event, the price is $1560.00 per team.
Teams may be as few or as many drivers as you like, usually
anywhere from three to six depending on how much seat time
    is desired.

Trophies are awarded to overall and class winners. So, even
if you dont win overall, you may go home with some hardware.
Post race celebrations will be taking place at Rachel's in Palm
    Beach.

If we receive enough interest from out of town participants, we
will make arrangements to obtain a block of rooms at a hotel
    convenient to Moroso Motorsports Park.

That course looks like somone scammed the design after dropping a bowl of speghetti on the floor - pretty awesome. Any idea which portions we will use for the enduro?

Yes, if I was able to upload a file to the forum, I could redo the map to reflect what we're planning.

In any case, we're completely cutting out the bottom "boot" portion out so the front straight will come down to that little chicane, then a bit more straight before going through the twisty bits which end up on the northern straight.

Everyone seems to agree, it will be a lot more fun to have a many straight-a-ways as possible.

I spoke with Johan last night in fact as we were leaving Speed Indoor Karting and he is in contact with a potential sponsor so we should be able to do this event up first class.

    December 3-4.

We seem to be having some trouble posting PDFs in F-Chat.

If anyone needs the flyer and registration form in PDF, please contact
    me directly.
