    I had my first chance to try a Buell today, an '04 XB12R Firebolt. Has anyone ever owned one of these bikes, specifically the aluminum frames XB series from the last couple of years? What are your impressions?

    I missed my opportunity to ride one of the XB series at a demo ride the other day because of a family birthday. But I have a friend with X-1 lightning the last year they made them. He put a D&D pipe on it and it is loud! Fun to ride though, it handles really well and is comfortable enough for all day.
