I've gone through them all...can't find anything elegant / classy / attractive that doesn't send the bling-meter to full. I may just try to find a set of stock 575 wheels, or the 575 modulars... --Dan
What kind of car do you have? HRE offers a very classy 547R wheel that when you put the Ferrari cap in the center it looks almost factory. Not to much bling because its not chrome, just polished. You can get it from Meridian Automotive Design for a decent price, their website is www.meridianonline.us But if you want a REAL sexy, classy wheel, you MUST go with the Zauber F-01 3-Peice. When on a 360 (not sure what car you have), it looks so stunning it will put you in a trance. Try www.wheelpower.com
Here is the link to a picture of the Zauber F-01 3-Peice.... http://www.wheelpower.com/wheels/zauber_whls/zauber_f360_l.jpg The HRE 547R wheel is not up yet on Meridian Automotive's website, but keep checking, it will be up soon. the site is really easy to navigate.
Car is a 550, in black. I think I'm just being picky. Problem is on the 550, lots of spokes or thin spokes do not work well at all. --Dan
No, i agree. Lots of spokes on wheels for a front-engine car (long hood), it just doesn't look right...did you try the link i provided?
Dan, I know you said you don't like many spokes for the 550 but these are my favorite wheels. I have similar OEM Porsche wheels on my 996. I saw these at the local shop, you know Mark Spencer's! They are light and beautifully crafted. I didn't ask him how much, plus you don't care if you like'em! http://www.championmotorsport.com/ferrari/550.htm The other you should consider are the ones on the 575 GTC: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21855&page=1&pp=20 Cheers, Matt
Dan: What look and performance issues are you looking for? There are a wide varience in wheels depending if you want lightweight, elegant, sporty, etc. It is always hard to improve upon stock, especially with wheels. Nothing seems to ever look right liek stock wheels.
Try Fikse or Kinesis in addition to HRE. Go directly to the HRE website instead of Meridian IMO. Dunno if you want shiny, matte, painted, exposed hardware or hidden (Fikse) but there are plenty of quality choices I reckon. Cheers Kevin
Here you go, Dan. This will go well with that sacriligious bike rack of yours! Image Unavailable, Please Login
