    The car that came to China is scheduled to be destoryed in crash testing. The head of marketing for Maser invited my wife and me to come to Modena and drive one at Fiorano. Yes, I'm living quite well over here...

    Yes. I haven't worked out the details, but I will be stateside in October for a wedding. Will take them up on the offer either on the front or back end of that trip.

    The "rules makers" feel this Maserati bends the spirit of the racing rules for the class this automobile is to compete in. It's racing future may be in doubt as a result. A "factory" race effort is also being met with strong resistance. However for street use it raises the "Maserati experience" to a new, very high level indeed. Crisp pictures, thanks.
