    This weekend, there will be an ALM race in Ohio. There will be Corvettes racing against a couple of Lambos and a couple of Salleens but NO Ferrari 550 or 575.

    What happen?

    I was at the race. The sole-surviving Murcielago R-GT had third place wrapped up it seemed, then with around 3 minutes to go, the Acemco Saleen S7R driven by Terry Borcheller made a huge comeback and overtook the Lambo R-GT. The Corvettes trounced the GTS field, and the LMP900 race was excellent, with the sole Infineon Audi R8 and the MG/Lola in a dual for quite some time.

    There were no Ferrari 500 series cars there, but there was one Calpont Ferrari 360. It retired early - I don't know why, I was on the back straight and it retired near the keyhole...
