Sooo....here it is. Guy bought em and drove over to Meridian to change them to HREs. The back tires, like Jeffreys, are over 12". Matt at Meridian is super cool. Dropped the car for me 1/4 inch. Ride is different...you can feel all the rubber. But suprisingly quiet. Car sits lower and is a reminder of my 355...more fun. The looks kill. I could not be happier.
More pics of Novitecs on a 360, at http://speed.*************/boardpics/2004-5-22/2378674-F%20Enzoa.jpg
those look great. perhaps the first time i've seen aftermarket wheels on an f-car and felt it was an improvement. the stock 360 wheels never did much for me. enjoy! doody.
very very nice. researching rim packages now, is there any wheel well rubbing with the .25" drop and the extra width of the tire? how much does each tire/rim weigh? more pics please!
Those wheels look great. Very OEM looking. Are they 18s or 19s? If my 360 hadn't come with modulars I would definately be interested. Does anyone know if the 19" modulars from the 575 fit a 360?
Novitec's are 19's. I hope Ferrari is looking and realizes that the replacement 360 should have these enzo style wheels. As for crossing the 2 cars, by data on this thread http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8361, the 575 the difference in front is 2mm. So in essense if the 8.5 in wide front fits without rubbing/interference, then the fronts should work. I assumed the width and offset and offset is the same on 575 fronts to 550's since the two cars are interchangable in many respects. I need more data on the rears though (ie width and offset). If you ask the seller (for example Ferrari UK will get you this info on request) to give me the data on the back of the wheel, I can figure it out for you. Btw, how wide are the Nov wheels front and rear?
Kevin, that looks great, awesome. The only wheels that look good in my opinion on a 360 are the Challenge wheels and those Novitecs. The original wheels never did much for me either although the Modulars look pretty good. But wow on those Novitec wheels.
Nice, bring it to CC. Man, wheels, Stradales, Gallardo's.........etc., what's next?.......you're too fast for me
Agree fantastic. The standard 360 wheels are way to solid ... these are far better, not as good as the Stradale wheels, but the best 5 (er, 10?) spoke'r. Pete's opinion
Looks great man...but careful. I have seen two 360's recently that appeared to have wider than stock rims and slightly lowered, and the top of the front fender lip contacted the tire and bent slightly (the fender) and cracked the paint. A risk you assume when venturing out there. Sure looks nice though. I hope it is fine. Dave Interesting that BMW uses a similar style wheel (though only 17") on the 540 sport.
I agree w/Doody , the stock 360 wheels have never looked good to me .They tend to look "flowery" instead of mechanical. Just my opinion.
Kevin, Congrats on the wheels... they look awesome!! Yes, Matt and the guys at Meridian are pretty cool guys - they'll do wonders with a 360 there! Can't wait to see your wheels in person, and side-by-side with Jeffrey's yellow 360! B.
