    Hi

Just got my new F355B and its making me feel like schoolboy again, only problem is that the exhaust bypass valve is missing. I have got from an archive search that this is primarily to make it louder. My mechanic tells me that it can cause it to fail the emissions test of the MOT examination. He also tells me that you can block off the silencer to pass the test. My question is "is this true?" also, how much do they cost?

You will also loose bottom end torque with this valve removed.

    Hi coolblue,

I got last week some problems with my by-pass valve. Mine was sticking in the full close position. The consequence of that was the blinking "Slow Down" warning light.

By the way, where has your car been serviced (country, Ferrari vs non-Ferrari dealer, ...)? Just a bit currious about that.

    Regards,
    Christophe.

Thanks for replies, my car is being serviced in the UK by a non-dealer specialist.
