It's a very tough choice. Either get them both of get the 550. Its much rarer if I'm not mistaken. There are 1000s of F40s but I think only a couple hundred Barchettas.

Still not a huge fan of the Barchetta...With the roof off it looks 'ok', but whens in on it looks like a tent.. Jaz.
This is why it is a "barchetta" and not a "spider". The barchetta's top is for emergency use only, it is not meant to be an "everyday" car (unless you live in a perfect climate)
I find the hoops and lumps on the rear deck of the Barchetta ruin the clean lines of the 550. A choice between the F40 and a Barchetta- & you drive a race car? Seems the F40 is the ONLY way to go.
The Barchetta is still there -- in the new showroom which is across the street. I was over there two weeks ago. It is absolutely gorgeous. I don't know what they want for it -- but shouldn't it be a lot less than an F40?
