Someone sounds quite proud of that abomination, We should club together the £9.25 it cost to make and have it immediatley crushed by the nearest steam roller, better still give it to Top Gear and let them flame it with that Jet Car from the last series. Seb
Damn, this ugly *'+$%§& sucks indeed sooo badly. Maybe he ate too much mushy peas w/fish & chips, swallowing down w/some warm beer and than started to create his F40 monster what a waste of a wonderful TR7!
Saw this thing last week may buy it and come on some of the ride outs with you guys, there again used to have a couple of customers with tr7's many years ago complete waste of metal then, its now got even worse, decided not to buy it id rather have a vauxhall viva, cheers Dale.
Obviously you have no idea what you are talking about. The TR7/8 was probably the most underated sportscar ever made. Steve
This was the one i built, alot of the parts were from stevew from this site. It was a twin turbo 5ltr V8, with Methonal injection and a shot of No2. With out No2 it was around 450bhp, and could out exelerate my 355,and had an engine bay that would shame it. As you can see it was in magazines,And also as you can see the breaks were better as well. http://www.triumph-cars.com/articles/art51_60/art5203.jpg
hey guys, a good few years ago i had a TR7 V8 with 240hp and it went like hell.... but i was running it on 110 octane aviation fuel (RAF stuff) but it didnt look like that bloody mess of a car.... it could smoke the tyres in second and cost me a grand total of £3500 in all the 2 yrs i owned it!! upto 100 there wasnt much that could stay with it, but wet roads were alway fun! round and round and round..... brings back good memories now i think about it ;-) steve j
