More than just designed it. Look at the interior pics and compare where the vents come out and stuff like that. It is the exact same car. The kind of work some german tuner would be proud of, not the DaimlerChrysler corporation. I'm appalled by this car. No matter what the performance is, I will never touch it. Some passionate craftsmen busted their butts for years to come out with an incredibly competitive and refined product. And DaimlerChrysler just copies the damn thing. The enveloppe must have been huge.
550 > Murcielago> Zonda Murci is to "chunky" compared to the diablos of past. Zonda looks like an art car gone uber artsy. 550B looks like a shark. I like sharks.
Having driven two of the cars, the order would be; Zonda..........550....................and........................ ...............................................................................Murcielago by about that much. But as said they are very different cars.
The 550 Barchetta is one of my favorite Ferrari's. But that Lambo, is just drop dead gorgeous in my opinion. Add to its looks, its power, and the fact that i love convertibles and its just a recipe for FUN!
Same as the 550 Barchetta. I don't see why you'd want to drive this car unless you could go with the top down?
The Murcielago ROADSTER, as it is now officially called, will have a top that can be used at speeds under 100mph. Customer cars should arrive in the US this Fall.
Utkarsh you are too funny but the thing is that I think that if I had a power top, I would take the top off a lot more. It is the fact that you have to leave the top at home that bothers me and most of the time I do not want to risk it if I am far away from the house.
What year is this Jag? If it's a '61 you should try to buy it for sure. My dad had a '61 Black/Black XKE but had to sell it for college money. Damn, I wish he still had. One of the nicest, rarest and most influential sports cars ever!! BTW, I think the Murci Barchetta is by far the nicest of the three, including the Zonda.
Very fitting, considering that the word Murcielago is Spanish for Bat. The Murci truly is the Bat-Mobile.
