Greetings. Once again, it's time to go bend some electric karts. Last time we had some great racing, and Nick R. ended up 4 wheels off the ground on a tire barrier. Who's in? I know Jim and Rob are there. TBC Indoor Kart Racing (http://www.tbcikr.com/keuze.asp) Regal Row and I35E 6:30 PM
I'll probably have to bring one or both of the boys this time. I put them off all year with the 'it's a school night' excuse. That one doesn't work any more.
I'm in a hurry, but Greg (TBC) just emailed me that TBC has gone out of business. Boy, we never saw that coming! Thanks Greg for at least contacting us and he didn't even have to as he was laid off a week ago, but just found out as he got back from vacation. Dave and Busters 6:30pm?
Hmmm, Ok then. Anyone nearby want to drop by TBC and leave a note on the door for people who might not read this notice? You're talking the D&B over at 35 and Walnut Hill, correct?
I'm confused (I know, AGAIN?). Please clarify....are you all meeting at D&B (if so, which one)or at Speed zone? THANKS! Frances
Before I left this morning I sent a reminder out to the email list. That should catch everyone. Next time we'll look at stuff other than D&B. Joseph and Meagan already responded they'll be at D&B.
I will try to make it at D&B. I want to try racing though, if I made it. Could we go to SpeedZone later? or SpeedZone not good enough to shape up driving skill?
na, won't do you much, but we'll do Speedzone next month. Sorry, I just had to make a quick decision as I was walking out the door. Maybe part of it is I have a suit on and it's pretty darn hot out there. Speedzone will be beter in the fall.
Surprised seeing many people tonight! It was nice to see those familiar faces to chit-chat. First time I saw Rob in suit, and he looked like Wallstreet guy! Good to meet you Ken, & Jimmy. Jimmy's Viper rocks, and he was very friendly to offer to let me drive (big mistake!). Ken, hope your house hunting goes well & find your comfortable nest pretty soon. (consider F-fund into mortgage, too!) Wanted to talk to Joseph, but he left a bit early. Is he a F-chatter? It was fun playing TV game races w/ guys & a gal, too. I just missed the first try for carting, and looking forward for the next chance.
I agree with Yoshi...it was nice to see everyone, meet some new folks and do some "virtual" track time. Looking forward to the next event!
Great turnout. Lets start thinking about what we want to do next month. It may still be too hot for Speedzone. Joseph and Meagan aren't active FC users, but they have attended a few of our FCA events. They're planning on the Fine Dining event.
My first outing with FCA had a good time and Yoshi next time we meet maybe you can take me for a spin in your Ferrari. Thanks Frances for inviting me and Reshma.
Of course! You're always welcome. If something happened to my car, I have 8 cars to choose from for exchange, hehehe. 360CS is calling you, Jimmy!
