Office Space, i love that movie. If you look at it, its like the perfect movie, everything is perfect. For example, the setting, its like suburbs of Ohio probably, peter's apartment has all like cheap generic stuff from like ikea, the guys house they go to has the big water tower in the back, the restaurants are all close together, he drives like a ford taurus. Perfection i tell u Perfection.

It was filmed in Dallas, but doesn't mean that's where it was supposed to be. I agree, a classic perfect movie. Hit home with so many people.

Since I'm a business analyst I love that part where the guy is explaining what he does as a BA to the consultants.

Well Patrick, I here is my response to you:

With regards to the afterlife comment, I understand that many people find even the thought of one to be silly. Personally, I have my doubts but at the end of the day I hope that there is something after this life. An eternity of darkness is an overwelmingly depressing thought.

As far as my ideologies are concerned, maybe this will paint a picture for you. As a member of the work force, I imagine that you are now paid "over the table" and taxed accordingly. Although we are both tax paying members of society, I'd wager a guess that you probably aren't in the same tax bracket as me. Someday when you become coolestmanever (with all due respect), and you see half of your hard-earned money disappearing from your paycheck, maybe then you too will care about where it is going and how it is being spent.

Ok, we arent looking at the same thing. I know that im not in the same tax bracket about you, I know that pretty much half of ur pay is taken away. Im not opposing you, im agreeing with you that it sucks that our hard earned money has to go to people who refuse to get jobs. Going back and reading your post i found myself i wasnt thinking straight and i didnt quite understand it. I hope we are both on the same page now.

The worst part of my job results from the most fun part of my job. Because of visual distractions, my regular 12/14 hour days can often turn into 15/17 hour days. Also talking to these 19-36 year old women about Britney Spears' love life, and how Jessica Simpson did on her newlyweds show, kills of many productive hours of the day.

Well continuous 18-19 hour days can be tough. However, spending some quality time with one these womens' friends can be rewarding. Can't spend much time with the actual employees on the outside, as sexual harrassment problems may arise by greedy women. :D

Me and Darth550 oggled at some of these women last friday night. You can ask him for his opinion ;)

Letting people go is by far the worst part of my job.
It's something I will never be able to get used to or want to be good at.

I disagree. I hated the hiring process, but found firing therapeutic. Usually by that point, I was rather upset at both myself (for the bad hire) and the soon-to-be gone employee.

Moot point now that I no longer have employees. Life if good. Very, very good.
