    Still waiting for INS - the "quick re-entry" permit (K3) won't be ready for another month or so - my application was entered into the computer by INS on Mar. 18th and right now online it says they are processing for Feb 10th. 4 weeks ago they said Feb 6th. So who knows how long.

    Now something my lawyer has "never seen before," my permanent residency has hit the last step of paperwork before my interview for a green card. Could be as early as 6 weeks.

    Unfortunately both of these methods are putting it right around the beginning of September, when my son is due and school starts.
