I have year end reviews back to 1970. Happy to trade if you have tapes from the fifties and sixties.

Although my collection is mostly on DVD I couldn't sell these as they are compilations from TV.

However you can buy professional versions, not sure whether avail as DVDs, but anyway:

I think that I have the entire '88, '89, and '90 seasons on tape somewhere. Regretably, I got lazy and stopped taping the following seasons.

The one race I am dying to see again is when Prost was with Ferrari, and Senna with McLaren. It was the Japanese GP when Prost knocked Senna out, only for Senna to pit to replace the nose cone. He then rejoined the race in dead last. From the back, he proceeded to reel them in, one after the other, regaining 1st place, only to be disqualified in the end.

Does anyone recall the year? I am thinking it was '91. Does anyone have this race on tape????

Also, I would also like to see the famous wet weather race at Donnington, where Senna just completely dominated. Does anyone have this one?

The race where Senna battled back was in 89, they were both driving McLaren Hondas at the time. Officially Senna was DQ'd for re-entering the track at different place from where he left, a very strange decision. He needed to win that race and the following race to have any shot at the championship that year (I can't remember if he needed Prost to DNF in Adelaide).

Interestingly, the two came together at Suzuka the following year, this time it was Prost who needed to win the last 2 races to have any chance at a championship. In probably his worst moment as a racing driver, Senna deliberately and very blatantly crashed into Prost in the first corner of the first lap, deciding the championship in his favor. It seems people like to forget this one, usually the same people who lash out at Schumacher for similar incidents.

The Donnington race was in 1993-- Senna in a McLaren Ford and Prost in a very dominant Williams Renault. Senna absolutely annihilated the field that day.

I have a reasonably solid collection of race tapes from 89-01 or so. If anyone is interested is sharing tapes, feel free to PM me.
