this is so amazing, what are the odds on this. sold the car in 1996 and moved to the US.................not only did the guy buy my car but he logs onto F-Chat and he posted photos, and this in the only Integrale 16v i know of that has the alloy fuel filler cap.
i just cant get over it..................IS THIS A SIGN? does my old car miss me and its tracked me down...........................? dont worry iam coming for you

    lol...it is strange.. :)

Like i said before ive not had it long but it is such a quality car i love the thing... how come your not allowed to drive them over there in the US?

As far as i know the only mods are free flow air filter and stainless exhaust,it only boost's to about 1 bar so i dont think its chiped.. :) ..gotta rebuild the head before (if) i carry out any further mods as i have a slight knock from the exhaust cam on tickover (common fault apparantly caused by heat soak from the turbo)..

I really dont know what to do with it now though... sell it,use it,fully restore it ??(full respray etc).... problem is im off work for at least 4 weeks now as i had a bad accident on holiday in spain so money is going to be tight so selling might be my only option.... decisions decisions..... :( ...

ive not been able to take any nw photos yet but i will by sunday night.. hear are a few more that i took about 2 months ago.. :)

when i first got it i did use a BBR chip and hated it, had it in for about 1 month, took it out and stamped on it...........the car didnt need it, it was quick but it was more about the way it would handle. I did put on the S/S Exhaust system and the airfilter mod also used group N head gasket and bolts at the time, wonder if they are still on? also it should have braided hoses on all for corners to the brakes?

you cant drive in the US because of a few things. One its never been crashed tested which is in fact the biggest reason among others airbags, cats, seatbelts etc etc,
If you do want to sell, i would think about it. the only thing is i would have to get it fully restored, engine out etc and repainted the whole nine yards and the reason is i can use it here very limited for car shows or track events.
also think it would be tough to restore it over here.
email me later and lets see if we can work something out, i would also need a little help getting it fully sorted. And shipped over.................wouldnt that be something!!!

    This is a brilliant thread!

    F355b, its meant to be!

It looks like you need to get it bought, restored over here (under the watchful eye of the evidently passionate current owner) and ship it to the US as a play thing.

    Brilliant!
