I have a set of Mother's P1, P2, P3 that I've had for around a decade. Does this stuff ever go bad?
I'm no chemist but i've bought some that was dry looking and crumbling into small clumps and tossed it out. Wouldn't want to screw with a nice paint job. T
I contacted Mothers today and the guy was real friendly. He said use it........ He, also said if concerned pour a bit on a cloth or plate and if the product is "together" then it will work great. He also said my wax wasn't a decade old because it was in red bottles. So Wax.... u Waxon or Waxoff?
I have no idea what you're all talking about -- but it sounds naughty. ;-) Regarding the wax, make sure to shake it vigorously in the bottle and see if it comes together. You'll know if it's gone bad if there's a watery look to it. -Daniel
But if you Wax rapsotic you'll have Wayne after you. Of course, we get a lot of Wayne storms awound here. (Get thee to a punnery)
some of these comments seem a little premature to me. And, talk about hijacking a thread.... I think we've flogged this topic long enough.
Hijacked and left with the plane! But, I don't care... Update..... Mothers P1 does go bad! I poured some out and it didn't look right at all. Off to the auto store tomorrow........ Which wax should I get again? lol
I wouldn't use it!! Not that it has gone "Bad" it's just old wax is just that "old wax". Use something from today. (Actually better products) Try Meguiars new NXT at your local parts store. OR get the "good stuff" P21S, Pinnacle or go synthetic with Klasse. (My favorite) I use the Klasse cleaner than glaze then top off with P21S. Here is a link. Wax and Sealants
