    We all have favorite forums within FerrariChat.com that we love to visit. So tell me, where do you spend the majority of your time when on FerrariChat.com. And why?

    For me:

    (1) New York Tri-State - that's where "da crew" hangs
    (2) Ferrari Discussion (not model specific) - still has some great threads of general interest
    (3) Showroom - love the pictures
    (4) Modern (355/456/550 & Later) - 'cause I've got one (355)

    Your turn.

    (1) Reading current posts in Tri-State
    (2) Scanning general forums following a predictive algorithm for where "the next big thing" is going to happen. I mean, clicking on random threads with catchy titles. ;)
    (3) Reading older threads in Tri-State so that I can figure out what everyone else is talking about when doing (1)
    (4) searching for places to post werd, fwerd, fwerff, or other derivatives, or occasionally offer interpretations ala "oh stewardess, I speak jive..."

    Not in any particular place. I use the New Posts button to view all new posts since my last visit. Then I only read the ones I am interested in.

    On a side note: Rob, why is the Mark Forums Read button so close to the New Posts button? I can't count how many times I've accidently clicked on Mark Forums Read when I meant to clinck on New Posts...

    I usually start at the top and work down:

    Silver or Rossa section (if there's a new headline I like)
    General discussion
    Tech Q&A
    Classic
    Northwest
    and then I'll peruse the Off Topic Area for anything interesting

    Sometimes I mix in the showroom and some of the other specific area sections.

    I, on the other hand, start from the bottom and work up:

    1) Other Italian, to see if there is anything interesting about Alfas or Maseratis (the Italian cars I actually own);

    2) Chicago--I alway at least check this forum, to keep up with local events and happenings;

    3) Classic models: this includes most of the cars I'm actually interested in (and capable of) buying, so I check it looking for interesting bits of random information about the cars;

    4) General Ferrari discussion: usually something entertaining here, if I have time to browse.

    From time to time I'll check the Showroom and the Silver Subscribed forum, but not most of the time.

    Bikini thread :)

    In all seriousness though, off topic is my favorite section since I cant really contribute much useful or technical information.

    1. Ferrari Discussion- See if anything is worth reading.
    2. Showroom- See the great pics of course!
    3. Modern Discussion- See whats going on with modern F-Cars.
    4. Super Ferrari's- Its always fun talking about the REAL dream cars!
    5. LamborghiniChat.com- To get my daily dose of that "other company"

    Thats about it, then i'll browse the Arizona & Nevada Forum but there never really is much happening there.

    Hi Everyone,
    Although this is my first post, I have been lurking the site for quite some time. I've been to a couple of events thrown by the guys here in the SF Bay Area, and am looking to learn much more about Ferraris from this community. I didn't want to create my own thread about being new, and not contributing something useful, so I thought I would be helpful and answer this question.

    I spend much time at...

    Ferrari Discussion (not model specific) - It seems to be the busiest section and where most of the community congregate.

    Modern - I am researching Modenas. A lot of great info has been extracted here.

    Off Topic- Business and Investments - I am currently at a crossroads in my career, and surprisingly, this section has provided very valuable information. I've even received a referral for financial advice from a very helpful individual. I am looking to provide some advice as well, once a topic is brought up that I have experience in.

    I've been using the search religiously, and soaking up as much knowledge as my free time allows. I look forward to gaining insight from you all, as well as to eventually contribute in my own way.

    Thanks :)

    Hi Ghost,
    Thanks for the welcome.
    I am in sales. I am an account executive for capital equipment. My territory spans the Bay Area, as well as some of the Central Valley.

    However, I am in the middle of constructing my custom home, and am seriously considering shifting my career opportunities to some form of development.

    I can see you are in NY and into hedge funds. You are also a fellow NSXer. We should chat sometime about your reasons for replacing the NSX with your current 355.

    Take care.
