360 Coupe here. My driver side rear tire seems to loose air very slowly, like 10 psi a week.

I inspected the tire and there are no signs of holes, nails or punctures.

I called the dealer and they told this has happened on the 360 Modular wheels, they need to take the wheel off and fix, this should take a bout 2~3 days and it's under warranty.

Any of you has the same experience? Thanks for your help.

This is a 'normal' problem with every multi-p wheel. It has been happening since 1994 and the F512M...

The dealer I was at always REPLACED leaking modular wheels. We did it under warranty on a couple of Barchetta's.

The wheel is made up of 3 main pieces sandwiched together with rubber seals between them and as all things they are not perfect and occasionally you get one with air leaking at the joint.

Or with time the rubber degrades and you get a leak as well.

On a newer 360 you should not have this problem. In most cases the rubber between the two main pieces is leaking.

On a 2003 or 2004 I'd insist on a new rim because there is no way the rubber has gone back already. SO... the problem may be a small crack... and that could be dangerous.

Thanks guys, yes I have the newer model and unfortunately this has to happen. I called Alan (Service Dept) @ Ferrari of OC and he says it's a common problem on some 360 Modular Wheels.

I will tell him I want a repalcement instead of fix.

For some of you who has get your Modular wheel replaced by Ferrari, what the process and how long does it take?

The wheel is a 2 piece wheel, there is no seam in the air pressure section, just the center bolts in. So if you have leak, its probably your tire or valve stem.
