Can anyone name this car? Model, year?

Looks like a Maserati to me. Early to mid '60's.

A Maserati aficionado would be more accurate than me but I would say its an early 60s Maserati 3500GT. These cars had straight six cylinder dual overhead cam engines with dual ignition and three Webers. I think they had ZF 5 speeds in them.

Maserati, probably 3500 or 5000GT?! Not sure but I think I'm in the ballpark.

 

I've seen a 3500 GT coupe in much worse shape go for $17k within the last year. A nice one is high 20's or low 30's.

 

Agree with the above: well restored 3500's in the low $50's

If you are considering the car for yourself, be sure that all of the parts are with the car! Parts for old Maserati sometimes make old Ferrari parts seem reasonable. The carb engines are much easier to work with than the early injected engines ... quite a bit less expensive to rebuild.

One thing to consider is that the 3500 series Maserati costs about the same to fully restore as a Ferrari 250 PF Notchback Coupe (The PF Coupe costs about twice as much based on condition going in) but the Maserati will be worth about one/half as much once finished due to a more limited market and other factors.

On the other hand, a Maserati 3500GT in good condition is a much nicer driving car than a 250.
