In no particular order.... 1. Not using your turn signal.(lazy bast#@ds) 2. People that brake waaaaayy too early for stoplights, and then coast the last 50ft to a complete stop while riding their brakes. (depth perception...get some) 3. Slower traffic keep right. What is so hard about this to understand? And no, the sign does not say....Slower traffic keep right unless the person behind you is speeding, or any other BS. MOVE OVER! Most of the brainless drivers in Hawaii drive about 10-15 mph under the posted limit in the left lane ALL OF THE F'N TIME!!!!! I feel better.... Craig

Slow left hand drivers. 2.Guys (not just teenagers) with souped up civics barrelassing through traffic like they know what they are doing. 3.People who think they are the only ones on the road and think they are above everyone else in their s-class or 745i (not that i have anything against those cars, just the people around here who drive them) and therefore do what ever they want on the roads around here.

Depends on local laws. Here, it's ok to turn left on red only if two one-way streets are crossing. My 3: 1) Bicycle riders. If you want to whimper about being 'a vehicle just like a car' then by-god STOP at the stop signs and observe minimum speed signs. Otherwise get your too-tight-spandex-wearing-YES-you-look-like-a-dork-won't-get-the-hell-off-the-curvy-road butt out of my way. And no, I don't give a flip about Lance Armstrong. 2) Smokers who just flick their cigarettes out the window. It's summer, there's DRY GRASS everywhere. Just what the heck are you thinking? 3) Anybody driving a vehicle with a sport emblem+child's name stuck on the window. Not only do the usual minivan/SUV rants apply, but you're potentially GIVING PEDOPHILES YOUR KID'S NAME. Won't it make the sicko's job easier when they already know which soccer team they play for and what their name is?
Geez you people and your turn signals... I'll use the signal when I'm going to change INTO a lane that has someone else. I think that's about it. I make it a point to NOT use a turn signal in turn only lanes cause if you can't guess where I'm going to go already, I don't believe that little blinking light will fix the real problem at hand.

Just thought of a good one. When I am turning left and have a green light and someone is turning right at the same time, and I have to wait because 50% of these people just take it over into the left most lane instead of turning into the closest lane to them. By law you are supposed to turn into the lane closest to you and then signal and go over if you so desire.
And another! People who STOP for busses on 4 lane roads (going in the direction opposite of the bus). Don't do this, only on 2 lane roads do you have to stop!
The worst is people who don't know that the freeway merge ramp is for MERGING. Doing 40mph when the traffic they're trying to merge into is doing 60mph. Iv'e seen tons of close calls from this stupid behavior!
LOL, this is getting bad on the back roads around where I live, they will ride 6 across blocking the lane of two lane roads. I got hit by a kid on a bike a long time ago. The parents could not believe the cop said it was their kids fault b/c he ran a stop sign. I was stopped b/c I saw him hauling ass and not watching. I honked when he got close but I guess he was blind and deaf b/c he slammed right into the side of my car. I was thinking about backing up when he got close but figured he would see a car in his path. In Louisiana bicycles have use of the roads but they are supposed to obey all laws.

And always in front of ME! 1)People READING on the FREEWAY while driving. 2)Ricers that think racing is cutting everyone off as many times as possible. 3)People who drive SUV's in front of me so I can't see around them to pass.(sorry Pete S) 4)People who have a clueless girlfreind that cuts me off, then get the finger as I pass, then get out with their brother and walk up to my car asking for a fight and receiving one while the light turns green and people gawk and cheer from their cars.
My biggest gripe is our driver's education system: It's terrible. Here we are all griping about how terrible drivers people are. Then you have a 15 year old learning to drive and you know who is teaching him/her? Their mother/father who also cannot drive. It's crazy. Being a good driver certainly takes a certain level of experience to be sure but by turning new drivers loose on the streets after nothing more than a written test is inexcusable IMO. If you really wanted to be harsh about it you could say these new drivers can be a danger to both themselves and everyone else, but to be truthful it's not their fault. We need to teach people how to DRIVE, not just give them a license. Driving safely on the street it not about racecar style control, it's about knowing how to make good decisions and recognize changing situations. We teach people how to steer and park. We don't teach them how to DRIVE. My goal when I drive is to be safe of course but at the same time I try not to impede anyone else. If I'm at a light and traffic is backed up I will let you in from the parking lot provided you're attentive and ready to go. (If you blew by me in a lane that was closed and then want back in, forget it. You're a punk.) If I'm already 15 mph over the speed limit on the highway I will still move over and let you by if you're going faster. If I see you need to move over I will back off the few feet you need in order to get in front of me. I appreciate it when you wave "thanks". If I meet you at a 4 way stop I will wait my turn rather than blast through the intersection. I especially appreciate other drivers who when I'm making a left turn motion me to go. That means they recognize where I'm going and am happy to let me. Therefore I don't have to watch them the entire time and wonder if I'm going to get t-boned when I turn left in front of them. Of course they won't know where you are going unless you signal... I will do my aboslute best to not blindly back out of a parking place and scare the sh*t out of you. Realize I do drive a low to the ground sportscar and when SUV's are on either side of me I have to back up before I can see you. I don't like it but sometimes there is no choice. I appreciate that you are attentive and don't hit me. I especially appreciate it when you actually stop and let me out rather than just passing closely behind me, honking your horn as I reverse and scaring the sh*t out of ME. I HATE people who are sitting at a four way stop and when I turn left at my time the person I'm turning in front of guns it and comes within inches of my car before I clear the intersection. Can't you wait 2 more seconds? I HATE people who have no concept of staying right in parking lots and driveways. How many times have I tried to turn into a driveway in a shopping center and the car there trying to leave is right in the middle of the driveway? There's no room for me to get in, there's no room for anyone else to get out and traffic backs up on the street and everywhere. Doofus. Shoot these people. I hate cars who have been waiting a long time to cross a busy street. There is a small break in front of me and so this car screams out onto the street and makes me slow down or take other action to avoid hitting them. When I look in my rear view mirror there is not another car behind me for blocks... You can't wait one more little instant before I pass and then you can enter at your leisure and without endangering either of us? Never perform any manuever that requires the other driver to somehow "help" you in order to pull it off. HANG UP THE DAMMED PHONE!!! I know some people are capable of driving and talking on the phone. The majority of them are not. I rarely see drunk drivers but I see people yacking on cell phones cause disruptions or accidents everyday. Something must be done. When on the highway and traffic is backed up do not sit behind me and blink your lights because I won't get out of your way. It's not ME in the way, it's the 200 other cars in front of us. When things start moving freely I will let you by. How many times have you been on a 2 lane highway and seen a group of a dozen cars or so all bottled up because of ONE driver who just doesn't get it? He takes 10 mins to pass one car and apparently turning off the cruise control for an instant and either letting us by or hurrying a little to clear the left lane is beyond his/her control. And while I'm in the left lane and stuck behind this schmoe quit blowing by me on the right looking for a hole to get back in, not finding one and dropping back again. We're not all stuck here because we're stupid, we're stuck here because the guy at the front of the line is stupid. You'll have to wait just like the rest of us. I hate when there are two cars side by side and they travel at exactly the same speed for miles. I hate when people move up on my left to pass me and instead of passing they sit in my blind spot. AMEN. "Keep right, pass left." It's the most basic rule of the road, and yet, it's the least followed. Almost as bad as the drivers who won't keep right are the ones who think YOU are a maniac, swerving in and out of lanes because you DO keep right and pass left. My fiancee's mother thinks I am the worst driver she's ever driven with because I'm aggressive (not road rage aggressive, just not the "I can't make up my mind" type) and because I keep to the right and change to the left lane only to pass. "You're horrible; you can't stay in one lane? You SHOULD ride the left lane." She's not the only one. So many people would agree with her. To top it off, New Jersey has gestapo tactics in place with their #77 system. It's a report-on-your-fellow-driver phone number that you can call from the road to report someone whose driving you don't care for. (Mind you, it's now illegal to talk on your cell phone while driving without a hands free kit.) A cop then immediately gets dispatched. I'm just waiting for the day when some old lady or soccer mom reports me for passing safely on the left... grrrrr
I feel so sorry for the Jersey boys, the cops there are the worst. I was going 73 in a 65, in the right lane, and he pulled me over and gave me a 175 dollar ticket.
Just was reminded of another one, as it happened to me today. You're stopped and turning left into a driveway off of a two-lane road. Brake light one, blinker on, etc. Some stupid MF'er doesn't even slow down and zooms past you within inches on your right. It is especially common to happen to motorcyclists and is pretty scary. One stupid ******* hitting you with their mirror and you have a serious head injury. I'd like to hunt them down and beat the crap out of people that do this...
In no particular order: 1) "Happy Brakers" - constantly tapping or riding their brakes for no reason. 2) No brake lights - just take a guess when I'm braking! 3) "Soccer Moms" with their gigantic gas guzzlers that drive them like it's a sports car WITH KIDS IN THE CAR!!! I almost get run over daily.
