Anyone wanna watch it in edgewater instead of NYC. a few of us are going to stay on this side of the river if anyone else wants to come let me know. Me Utkarsh Danny
Vik, not too keen on coming up all the way to the city just for a movie.. wanna meet you guys though.. ponder ponder ponder
Yeah but considering i only have 1 car in the household right now (an escalade no less) after the jaguar getting towed (expired reg.) it makes commuting a giant pain in the a**
...you have a thing with those reg tags huh. ;-) This just means that the Murci better come sooner than later!
Juliana & I are taking a Jitney across. I'd be more than happy to pick you up & take you with us to the Jitney. Your call.
I got an idea for you Utkarsh, grab a ride with someone in NJ. There are a few that I am sure would not mind.
Just seems like most of the guys are in NYC and they already come to NJ almost every weekend so it looks like they want to stay local. Believe me, I would rather go in NJ, but does not look like it would happen.
i'm not trying to pull everyone to NJ, just saying, NYC guys go to a nyc movie. Jersey guys go to a NJ movie on the water. after the movie breaks we can both stand on our respective sides of the river and wave at each other
no bEeF iN ThE NyTrIsTate... but to party you guys will have to cross the river anyway to go to pchops bash at idol.
W00dEar knows where the true playah's roll. Respek! Just kidding guys. Just wanted to extend the invite less so for the movie, and more because we're all getting together as a group. I just thought it would be fun to catch up with each other and just chat. The NYC attendee list is fifteen, possibly seventeen, so it should be a lot of fun. Come if you can. Always love to see all the NJ crew, Clyde, Keith, etc...
ya know, we've (collectively) complained about channel crossings before. I think it's high-time we build the "Ferrari/Lamboghini Memorial tunnel" between midtown & upper NJ. We could have three tubes, just like the Lincoln. The first will be for exotics only (naturally). Since it's privately owned, there won't be a speed limit and we'll rig the tube with sound & lights for those special recordings of Tubies in the Tunnel and Brad film sessions. Selling those clips would offset maintenance costs. The second tunnel would be for normal commuters at some fee near the Lincoln costs. Of course we handle ezpass. The last tunnel will be for trucks. Those we charge the heck out of. On quiet weekends, we could shut the truck tube down and allow protesters to rent the passage, blocking "traffic" to their hearts content. Oh, did I mention we could also equip that tunnel with flood gates to wash the protesters out to sea then pump the tunnel dry & clean? Might we get fined for polluting the bay? maybe. But that's a chance we should take. whatdaya think?
Brilliant! I like it already. That's a good further thought. Except I think we could fetch a good bit more than lincoln prices if we could figure a way to keep loads at a level that waiting time was always less than lincoln. Not sure this will work, but suppose it's worth a try. That's great and more than makes up in entertainment value for even the case that truck revenue is unforthcoming.
I also think we should consider an exotics-only bridge in addition to the tunnel. Again, privately owned, no speed limit. nice to be flying along in the open air sometimes.
That is what I thought you wanted to do Vik. It is nice to see you can get out to this one. How is work by the way? Have fun and see you soon.
