Part One
Impressive!! I would LOVe to have a workshop that clean. Unfortunatly it's not possiable with cars that are used. What a beautiful factory. These cars are totaly hand assembled much more so then any other exotic on the market(o.k. besides the Zonda, Konigeggs). Simply amazing.
Great pics, thanks for posting. I looked up the word STERILE in the dictionary & there were pictures of that factory there!
Is the second one from the top on a dyno? It appears that the front wheels are spinning too. AWD dyno and drivetrain? I thought they were rwd?? Maybe it isn't a dyno, but a durability test of some sort.
You have to get all the wheels spinning on the SLR to get a percise read, because of air traveling into the engine and traction control. I know its not doing a burnout but the SLR's computer doesnt know its on a dyno...
I seen a picture of a black one on the road in the city at night and it was stunning.. Although I think the car isnt that quick for all the hype it was givin the CL65 has more power and would be more practical.
i dont know what to be more amazed at... the making of the awesome SLR... or how clean the damn floors of the factory are... jeez, makes me think of what heaven's floors would look like
I wouldn't have been surprised to see a guy laying on a gurney with his guts hanging out and a couple of Docs with their instruments laying on one of the hoods.
Nah, that's the nursury, just like when you have a baby, they are put in a room so you can say "that's mine!" to all the other mothers & fathers.
