    I just bought new 3 1/4" floppy's for my Sony Mavica digital camera. I am getting a Disk Error! The floppy's are 2HD 1.40MB. Whats up here?

    How old is your Mavica? They have been known to have hard drive failures after extensive use.

    Would you believe that I bought a pack of SONY 1.4MB floppy's and now I do not get a Disk Error in the SONY camera!!!!

    Mine is really picky about the discs it likes, try a different brand.

    I remember owning and using a Sony Mavica. Its been years, it worked fine and never had any problems that I can remember. Just got tired of carrying such a bulky camera after a couple of months.
